 With some mechanical ability and basic tools, the easy to fit Gen III Gt5 engine motor kit includes all components for mounting to your bicycle frame. The all new and improved engine will fit your bike frame tube 40 to 50mm and rear seat tube 28mm to 32mm dia. with a 70 degree included V angle for sufficient engine mounting and will sit lower for extra clearance. At manufacturing stage, all StarFire engine motors are quality checked and fully bench tested to make sure you receive the qualified engineered engine kit you expect from StarFire Bike Engines.

Average engine motor kit assembly time to motorize your bicycle may take two to four hours, perhaps longer or even a few days, depending on mechanical ability. But the joy of assembling your Bike Motor and engine kit components to your bike frame, will give you total satisfaction when you fire that StarFire motor into life for the first time to motorize your push bike. A rewarding joy and challenge is found, in designing the custom motorized installation of your own.

The StarFire brand of bike engine kit is sold to a global market, with a large volume of sales to North American, therefore, US compliance requires StarFire engine motor and kit components to be produced to a high standard of engineering quality. Using only Top Quality Components in the Generation II’s & Generation III StarFire bike engine kits, such as Japanese 10 point Roller Needle Bearings – Heavy duty 6203 Crankshaft bearings with 7.5 wide oil seals on both sides of the shaft. StarFire engines are economical to run and will travel approximately 100 K’s on one dollar of two stroke petrol mix.

The RUN IN period strongly recommended by StarFire Distributors, is a period at low speeds of 15/20 kph on short 20/30 minute journeys to prevent engine over heating, be observed. During the run in period, we recommend strongly, that the petrol to oil mix ratio for your two stroke engine be…18 parts fuel to 1 part of top quality Synthetic two stroke motor oil. After your engine has been run in, burning approx fifteen litres at fuel ratio of 18:1 through the engine motor, you can change the petrol to oil mixture to…25 parts fuel to 1 part of top quality synthetic two stroke motor oil, some synthetic two stroke oil recommendations to consider are…. Castrol TTS, Castrol R30, Castrol A747 racing oil, Shell Advance. When your StarFire Engine has been run in, this will give longevity of engine life, better engine performance and extra power with a lower fuel consumption.
